In the field with Mark at Rough River

Daddy, you need a shave!

Nothing like a sunny day and a shave on the tractor!

Christmas 08

Being married to a very talented photographer does have its advantages! However, setting up the shot with your own family as opposed to the hundreds of other people/clients over the years can be a challenge....to say the least! So the day comes and we decide to pack up the dogs and head over to the conservation park, hike and take our Christmas picture! Yay! But then, in true Keller fashion, we change our minds and head up to our very own hill behind the house...take some paper and matches to start the little pile of sticks and branches for a neat effect in the picture. (then we had smoke, ashes and sparks...not good...) We didn't realize how hard it is to pose for a simple picture. Of course, both girls have ideas of their own..."Daddy...let's try it over here..." and then the dogs are not cooperating at all; one has decided to sport a new scent today.....deer droppings a la Zoey. Then every time Brian sets the timer and scampers toward us, here come the dogs. There is laughter, frustration, and of course, impatient females who don't want to stay in position until he sets it up again. In the end, we have 2 good pictures out of who knows how many!! Whew. Thanks to my wonderful hubby for his patience and skillful eye! We are so lucky in so many ways!

new phase of life

Wow, can you believe it's already December??? Where did THIS year go! It seems like I say that every year. Well, another change in our life as Brian officially RETIRED in October...his birthday month. What a gift! We're all adapting to having him here full time and loving it. Check back soon and I hope to have more pictures....like the photoshopped ones from his retirement party. More later!

Eating out

Finally, after what seems like months of cloudy, gloomy rain, rain, rain, we're enjoying the warmth of the sun, sun, sun!!

soccer season

Hallie is in soccer this year for the first time, so there'll be lots of backyard practice!

Spring hath sprung...

Well, Spring is springing here in KY and it's time for the chickens to come out of the chicken house! We're doing our best, as you can see to make them people-friendly!

Kentucky snow!

Kentucky snow!
We finally got a snow in March, with drifts 3 and 4 feet deep! It only lasted a weekend, so we did it all; igloo, snowpeople, sledding, sliding and best of all, snow cream! Hallie is wearing her cute and happy smile!

Brian Keller, photographer and Valerie Keller, musician; serving the Louisville and Oldham County areas. Quite simply put, we LOVE doing weddings together and want to ensure that your day is special and unique. As a photographer, Brian is very easy to work with and is virtually unseen during the ceremony. He takes great pride in his work, and the quality is outstanding! For your music needs, I am a vocalist, pianist and organist, and have served in many musical configurations! If necessary, I can help you network with other instrumentalists i.e. trumpet, strings, etc. In summary, we will make a great package deal for your wedding needs!
