KY Spring
Spring is here! From the lovely pair of nesting bluebirds in our yard, to the toad, who was discreetly camouflaged in his hole and discovered by Abby; and finally, our trip to Lakes Creek B&B. We've been frequenting this peaceful place in the "holler" outside of McKee, KY for many years as a get away for our anniversary...just the 2 of us. But this year we decided to take the girls, and sooooo glad we did! No TV, no electronics, no cell service! Just the rain on the tin roof and the woods to explore; filled with springs, sinks, waterfalls, wildflowers and wildlife. Even Logan got to go, and Aunt Bridget loaned us her "Dog-Opoly" game, which we filled up about 6 hours with in front of the little wood burning fire. Enjoy the pictures!

Kentucky snow!
We finally got a snow in March, with drifts 3 and 4 feet deep! It only lasted a weekend, so we did it all; igloo, snowpeople, sledding, sliding and best of all, snow cream! Hallie is wearing her cute and happy smile!
